Workshops

If  getting the bottom spacey, happy, and experiencing a good connection is the focus of play, this workshop may be for you. Getting a partner feeling that way, has way more to do with communication, emotion, and what's going on inside our minds than physical technique. There's all sorts of ways to get to sub-space. This workshop focuses on the idea of connecting with your partner, mentally, emotionally as well as physically. These ideas apply to first time play partners, as well as  intensifying what you already have naturally with a long term, loving partner. You'll get a chance to try some of the ideas and you can find out what fits for you.

  • First Things First - Where do you want to take them?
  • Two Easy Things - Do this to establish rapport and make it easy for them to follow your lead. Also useful for social situations, business, even seduction.
  • The Physical - Your physicality and theirs. Deepening connections.
  • Do More Than Just Walk In Their Moccasins. This may seem kind of New Age (woo woo!) Is it possible to feel what they feel?
  • Ask Not What You Can Do For Your Audience - Public Play and how the 'audience' can enhance connection.

Sure Fire Conversation for the Terminally Shy

Originally this workshop was intended as an approach to breaking the ice in a social setting. And it's great for that. It's evolved into a way to find out more about the person right in front of you, whether you've just met or you've known them for years. And, you also find out more about yourself. In or relationship or not, this workshop will help you start a conversation that creates connection, and a way to listen and be heard that improves communication.

Have you ever had someone you're attracted to right in front of you? What did you say? Maybe you've felt all flushed and nervous. You both were checking each other out. No doubt, there's an interest. And THEN...Nothing. Even if one of you screwed up the courage to say, "Hi," what should be brilliant conversation was just withering small talk, and a lot of quiet. Happens to a lot of us, doesn't it? I have a suggestion. Some may say it's a bit bold. But let's get together and practice. It's a way of finding out about a person. Find out if they're right for you. More importantly, you both get to see if you're right for each other. There's more to it, but it all starts with knowing how to ask, and find out…. "What's important to you?" And, you're not just finding out about that person. The more you do this, the more you find out about YOURSELF. I promise, the worse that happens, is you can become an amazing conversationalist.

"No, I don't do anything harsh. A cane isn't for me,"
I explained to the cane vendor.
I was at the BDSM club in New York, Paddles, and they had a cane vendor there. He was trying to sell me a cane.
He demonstrated some techniques on his forearm showing how a cane could be used rhythmically ( he had seen me flog earlier, a observant instructor ) and suggested I borrow it and give it a try (a good salesman).
I put my slave face down on the rack, chained her down.
Before starting I admired her little apple shaped alluring ass. The focus of everyone's attention I'm sure.
I tried the various ideas he had shown me.
She was spaced out pretty quick, mouth agape, somewhat erratic and then rhythmic breathing, bits and pieces of ohhhhh's and staccato Ah's as I worked rhythmically on her, so I was getting interested in the cane.
It was thick, a little over a half inch. While it was a somewhat stiff, powerful, rhythmic beating near the end, it wasn't terribly harsh. Only some reddness on her ass. Just increased the intensity of the rhythm and hit harder and faster...
She began to tense up, the chains of the restraints straightened, she became stiff, curling her spine, like she often does before orgasms...
And then she came.
And came.
Loud.
She's loud.
For quite some time.
Like she was being murdered.
Everyone saw a woman come from just a caning.
Not a very harsh one.
Other than music from speakers and her panting as she came down from her orgasms, Paddles was quiet.
I turned to the vendor and said,
"I'll take it."
Harsh and punishing is what generally comes to mind with Canes. It doesn't have to be that way (but we'll cover that as well in the workshop, but, hard, is easy.)
Arousal, altered state (sub-space), orgasms are all possible with canes. The range of sensations is large and subtle.
We'll cover:
1) Trust and Patience and Desire. Getting someone to the point where they WANT you to cane them is something you need to know about.
2) Types of canes besides rattan there's all sorts of materials.
Sting, Thud, Arousing and other sensations are attainable with the right cane and technique.
3) Connection - You get that in most of my hands on workshops. It's one approach to altered states, arousal, and in general, better relationships!
4) Technique - Using more of the cane for varied sensation. Thud - anchoring caning to arousal - rhythm – Altered States - double caning.
5) Sado-masochism. First thing you think of, right? Of course it's included.
6) QUIET caning. Apartment dwellers will especially like this.
If you have canes bring a few. Canes are available for experiencing the less painful techniques. They are the ones I think you'll find the most interesting.

Have you developed an interest in BDSM? Maybe you’ve read a book, seen a movie or been inspired online, or have just had these fantasies and now realize people actually DO these things. Maybe you’re partner is interested, and you need to find out how to get started. This BDSM workshop focuses on creating a fantasy come to life, scene to be played out that allows you to go back to your regular life right after. Creating and experiencing a scene where someone is in charge takes some planning and in this class you will consider:
•Where Do You Want to Go?
A lot of participants might be a bit shy about revealing their desires. But please bring an idea of at least one fantasy you’d like to play out in real life. Keep the idea simple. “I want to spank my partner,” (or vice-versa,) “I want to tie my partner up!” or “My partner wants to have a scene where they are my slave.” Let’s find out where you are, before we find out what happens next.
•How to Persuade the Willing: Some partners who are intellectually on board might need a psychological “boost,” to really step into the scene.
•How to prepare: Getting ready with your partner, a discussion of safety desires and fantasies. Also having the right tools at hand.
•Down the Rabbit Hole – What To Say, What To Do. How to begin a scene that connects with your partner. Using language that increases connection, makes it easier for you to lead, makes it easier for them to follow or vice versa.
•The End How to end the scene and how you can make that ending meaningful and more fulfilling

The internet is filled information about BDSM. You can attend Passion 101 workshops at and learn some of the mechanics of say, spanking, flogging or bondage. What you might find different and crucially useful in the workshop is an idea about how to know what to say and do while you’re in a given scene. More than just a way to get in the mood and stimulate the imagination, it’s an idea that draws you and your partner together, makes it easier for your partner to surrender to the moment, and increases the likelihood that the scene will be fulfilling. This isn’t the One True Way, this is just one useful way, and an easy way to get started. Not a script, but some simple, easy to remember concept to know just what to say, based on what’s going on around you.

Socializing 101
Sharpening Social Skills.
If you’re looking for a soul mate, a play partner, or really just want more friends, this workshop will let you practice some skills to make socializing more comfortable and effective.

While it’s not meant to cure social anxieties/phobias, most of us experience some challenges in social situations.

You’ll learn chunks, pieces of the puzzle of social interactions. In less than 2 hours you can have a game plan to improve your ability to socialize, a bit at a time.

Before You Go Out
Some preparations to boost your confidence and increase other’s receptivity to you. Many find this alone can make social situations more comfortable.

The Physical Approach
Sounds scary, but this part is easy, and can make a difference in how people perceive you.

An Introduction to Introductions
The most difficult part of this takes less than a minute. You may find this takes you out of your comfort zone. We’ll practice it a lot. In real life, after a minute, (whew!) It’s over and you’ve laid the groundwork for making great social connections.

Conversation
The one thing you need to do to engage in a conversation. It’s easy because when you learn this, it’s almost like there a script behind the person you’re talking to, giving you just the right thing to say.

Continuing the Conversation and Finishing it
How to get the other person to do most of the work, and why they’ll be thrilled about it! This part is, funny enough, especially important for both introverts and extreme extroverts.

Ending a Conversation

When socializing, there's a point to end a conversation. Even one that's going well! When it's going well, you want to leave them wanting more. We'll also cover exiting gracefully, when it's, well, less than desirable.

Follow Up

A few tips to keep the connection going.

The exercises you'll experience in the workshop will lay the foundation to apply what you learn. You'll also be sent extensive workshop notes.

You don't need to be super smooth, extroverted, or do everything, "right" to be successful at socializing. You just need to do enough, just a bit of the right things to expand your social circles, make new acquaintances, make new friends.

Find Out What They Need, So You Can Get What You Want

It's a simple concept. Look at that title above. Customized for the audience, but, here's how it works.

The people who identify as submissive, bottom, and slave come in first. We make a list. No, not like a profile on fetlife.com or collarme or alt.
What the ideal Domme/Dom/Top/Master type person is like.

Then the people who self-identify as Domme/Dom/Top/Master/Grand Poobah,
you get the idea, comes in and they make a list.

Then we talk about it. The goal is to begin to understand, "The Other Side."
To know the type of person they're looking for and how to explore that in real life.

==========================================

The Dating Dom

My Experience is as a heterosexual male. This is an intensive workshop for the guys.

There are a lot of unfulfilled women out there. Women who want a guy to just take control. Is that the sort of woman you're looking for? Before the internet, I typically was with at least two or three women at a time who referred to me and Sir or Master (without me telling them to do so), who enjoyed domestic service, who were thankful to finally find someone who would take them by the hand, (or fistfull of hair) and take control of the intimate part of their lives.

If you are looking for that, but haven't found that person yet, maybe this workshop is for you.

Now, with the interweb, the opportunities have increased. It can be easy to find a submissive female partner with just the right information and training.

I back it up with a money back guarantee. Within a year, if you're not happy with the workshop, return the materials ( minus the personal workbook pages, you keep them) and I'll give every penny back.

There are wonderful women out there, unfulfilled because they haven't found the dominant man of their dreams. You can be that man.

When you think of most impact play, pain could be the first thing that comes to mind. While we'll cover that, you'll learn some non-pain ways to sub-space, as well as approaches to getting erotic, sexual responses, even orgasm, from flogging.

Motivation and understanding from top to bottom.

Connection: That’s the real secret.

Safety Third! (Only because it’s the third thing we’ll be covering.)

Boredom and The Art of Flogging: When it looks really boring, it might be sublime. REALLY understanding what’s going on.

How to Hit You: Probably thought this was the most important part. Here’s enough to get to effective, fluid flogging. Also, tips on timing and rhythm for spacey scenes, sensual scenes, or sadistic flogging.

What’s Spinach Got to Do With It? Double flogging and what I learned from a total green newbie to BDSM.There’s more than just how to double flog. Learning from others.

You'll learn an exercise that will get you more fluid, and also closer to double flogging (Which is covered in Flogging 201!)

What do you want to work on?
SadoMasochistic? Sub-Space? Erotic, including orgasm? At the start we'll find out what each person needs, and tailor training and practice. Even if you're only focusing on one aspect, I ask you to try all the possibilities offered. But then you can focus on the prescribed exercises as it were.

Exercises and tips for:

Figure 8
Double Flogging (Florentine)
Reverse Figure 8 and Double Flogging - This impacts the 'sweet spot' of the bottom and can feel especially erotic. This has been the most effective way to get to orgasm without touching genitals. While You're Mileage May Vary, You'll walk away with a valuable flogging skill your bottom will appreciate.
The Slapping Punch I'll show you how to start this as a kind of tease. The bottom who's into harder floggings often reacts, "Oh, yeah, I see where this is going. More please." This emphasizes 'thud.' How to create anticipation and ramp it up.
Fluid Flogging One approach to sub-space and this is an important part Wise's signature, get them into sub-space, Florentine flogging scene. Learn smooth, rhythmic, fluid contact with your bottom.
Body Mechanics and position. Often if the floggers are being applied in an inconsistent way, body position and stance and distance from you bottom can make everything better.

For those who are comfortable with it, I'll offer "hand-over-hand," training so you get the feel for the techniques immediately. You'll be on your way to having 'muscle memory," for the techniques.

"Finally! How did you know I wanted a spanking?" Is something I've heard a lot.
One of the most iconic, basic kinks, spanking doesn't require any equipment and is one of the more intimate sorts of impact play.
Find out how you can use spanking to meet physical, mental and emotional needs.
We'll cover some of the reasons and how to take action whether it's:
Being controlled
Passively pleasing.
Catharsis
Tribulation Ordeal Stamina
Humiliation
Warnings and Rewards of Going to Dark Places
Fantasies including:
Age Play
Power Play
Discipline
Captive
Property
Anatomy - Making things less dangerous and one reason spanking can be so arousing.
Hands and Implements
For the sake of this class, we'll stick with tools that roughly have similar size and effects of the hand. Paddles, hairbrush, and a few other tools.
Positons - What works for various people and purposes.
Prevention and Handling when things go wrong.

Do you have any BDSM Rituals? If you've taken the time to develop one, it already means something.
Think about the ritual you're involved in, and what kind of feelings come from that. Would you like that feeling to be stronger? Even more profound?
What if the ritual included the values you share with your partner? Not just from words that you speak. But the actions of the ritual, put you both on the same page in a way that both of you can feel.
When I first developed my BDSM rituals, the main purpose was to slow down, focus, and make a transition from whatever we were doing before.
I started the ritual as a way to allow both myself and my submissive to get into the right frame of mind, to make the transition from the world out there, to our private world of Dominance and submission.
She might have had a day where the project is delayed because of staff incompetence, then as she leaves work there’s a parking ticket on her car and construction makes her late getting home.
Then she’s supposed to sweetly surrender to me with grace and poise.

The ritual gives us a moment to breathe, and connect. Out ritual makes our roles clear and gets us into the right frame of mind to perform those roles.

As it evolved, it became a way to amplify emotions, and let those emotions evolve. It’s added meaning beyond what I first intended.

In our lives, we have many roles. Worker, lover, parent, employee/employer. Were you in the military? You have been a killer and a destroyer of worlds. Literally. Then you fly home and have trouble getting your kids to brush their teeth.

Roles aren’t fake. They are real. Rituals can help you get to where you need to be, to take on that role to the fullest and become even more meaningful.

Whether you have a ritual now or not, you'll practice this approach and feel the results.
This is a wonderful complement to 'Connections - Putting Emotions Into Play'

"Rituals are so powerful because they are experiential. They speak to your being through all of your senses. Rituals cause you to feel, and be present in the physical world. Rituals communicate directly with the living, breathing, feeling, wise, intelligent, intuitive part of you; and in doing so, accelerate the change; even for, and especially for modern day people like you and me. The rituals work because they center you in your intention, in your body, and in your power." --Emily Temper "The Ritualist: Why Ritual is Better than Resolution"

The workshop outline:
• Where are you now? We’ll take some time to find what rituals participants are already using.
• Intent.Emotion.Meaning.
• How does the ritual make you feel? And then a exploration of where else you might want or need to go.
• Anchoring. An approach that amplifies emotions and meaning. When you’ve found a ritual that means something to both of you, and gives you these incredible feelings, anchoring can get you there, sometimes in an instant.
• Beyond the ritual. How a ritual can, “work it’s magic,” even when you’re not doing it.
